The most common type of holster is the belt holster. This is a classic leather gun holster that comes with a belt clip and belt loop for full versatility. The pancake type holster version has two slots which allow you to run a belt through them. As you can probably imagine, this slotted type of holster does not fall from your belt and is therefore more reliable, however both options are available to use.
